ROB SCHWARTZ – MUSIC SUPERVISOR – SYNC/SONG PLACEMENTS

Rob Schwartz has been involved with music most of his life. From originating at PolyGram Records after college under ILS Distribution (helped distribute Jay-Z’s first record “In My Lifetime”, plus Jeru The Damaja, Doug E Fresh, Group Home, Beenie Man, & more) to starting his own record label, and then moving to the west coast to work with artists under La’Face Records.

After returning to the east coast, Rob starting one of the biggest music based websites, TV shows, and TV networks under his WHO?MAG Multimedia umbrella. With WHO?MAG TV and DVDs, he was the first person to put urban music DVD’s through Netflix, Blockbuster, Walmart, & Target. He did all of this while maintaining a day job in finance in Risk Management with Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, and Bear Stearns.

After leaving the financial world at the end of 2009, Rob and his best friend from high school, Mr. Mig, opened a music studio in South Jersey. He immediatly started his own music distribution company with his first release being “The Just-Ice and KRS-One EP”. Now Rob has over 300 labels, over 1,000 artists, and over 20,000 songs under his music distribution including a Grammy Award winning album and multiple #1 Billboard records.

As a music supervisor, Rob’s first movie was “Living Will” with Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn (of Jackass). His next film was “Nobody Gets Out Alive” with Clint Howard. From there, he has worked on multiple music TV shows including 2 on FUSE TV (“Saturday Morning Fever” & “Dancin’ On Air”), 2 on FOX (“The Four” w/ Puffy and “The Q On Fox”).

Rob was the music supervisor on Aimee Graham’s “The Allnighter” which was one of the main featured films at the Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, CA feat. David Koechner (Anchorman/The Office), Justine Bateman (Family Ties), Tiny Lister (Friday), Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story”), and James Russo (Django Unchained). He was also the music supervisor for three of Philly Born Films’ movies including “7th Secret” (feat. Stacey Dash of “Clueless” and Natasha Henstridge of “Species”), “Philly Christmas” (feat Robert Clohessy of “The Avengers”, “Blue Bloods”, and “Boardwalk Empire”), and a TBA horror film.Rob was also the music supervisor on “Sickness” (feat Brian O’Halloran of “Clerks”) and “Bullied” filmed in the Kent, England.  He is currently working as the music supervisor on 4 new films including “The Realtor” (feat. Tommy Davidson, Sgt Slaughter, and Jake the Snake Robert), and 3 more TBA.

Rob has landed songs in the three MTV shows “Next”, “The City” (spinoff of “The Hills”), and “Making the Band 3”. He also has a song in John Hyams new horror film “Sick” (feat. Marc Menchaca of “Ozark” and Jane Adams of “Happiness” and “Dog”).

As a writer/producer, Rob has worked with some of the biggest name in the industry including writing Force M.D.’s latest song “Fly With You” (nominated by Soultracks for “Song of the Year”) and did songs with Grammy Award winning producers Eddie Hustle & Charles Farrar plus producers Mr. Mig, DJ Cassidy, and many others.

What separates Rob from other music supervisors is his love for music of all genres and his relationship with his artists. He has an extensive knowledge of a massive variety of music under his distribution which make it easy for film directors to land solid and affordable music in the projects.

MR. MIG – MUSIC SUPERVISOR – ORIGINAL SCORE AND MUSIC COMPOSITION

Steve “Mr. Mig” Migliore is a 60x Platinum producer & engineer who has worked many of today’s top artists.  He is also a Billboard #1 Producer, Engineer, Remixer, & film/TV composer.
